A dream place

When I first entered in the unique space of St Nicolas Bay Resort from Agios Nikolaos, I felt like walking live into VOGUE luxury travel pages and continued into Architectural’s Digest magazine exquisite house presentations. After some time, talking to the hotel and Spa managers, I learned that the owners are well-known architects, and behold, my AD feeling was confirmed.

Mediterranean in character, this delightful resort in Agios Nikolaos blends two elements to perfection: fresh and airy contemporary design couple with exceptional service, fine cuisine and unique amenities.

With a bungalow style resort and private pool villas, overlooking both the spectacular Gulf of Mirabello Bay and the old cosmopolitan fishing village of Agios Nikolaos, this hotel has individually designed and decorated, delightful residences that explore the height of luxury combined with all modern technology. St Nicolas Bay is part of “Small Luxury Hotels of the World” and well worth it.

Secluded ambiance, comfort, extra space and panoramic sea views feature all rooms, offering the chance of living a great relaxing experience, is gracefully completed by the well being space of Poseidon Spa, a great escape into an oasis of pure elegance and calm, as I already told you in a Spa dedicated article. Poseidon Spa offers a revitalizing experience, using Elemis, Cinq Mondes and Algoane products, while face and body treatments are combined with seawater therapy to maximize mind and body rejuvenation.

By day, laze on the protected cove’s private sandy beach before taking a dip in the clear shallow waters, there’s even steps straight into the sea. The main pool area has two adjoining pools to laze around and cool off in, and a pool bar for refreshing drinks.

There are five restaurants serving a diverse range of cuisine. You’ll start your day with breakfast at the Club House, dine at Blue Bay for lunch, and then have a choice of three restaurants for dinner. Labyrinthos offers buffet-style dining or a set à la carte menu, has an open kitchen and a new terrace for al fresco dining; poolside Minotaure offers a sushi menu, Mediterranean fine dining and offers romantic candlelit dinners under the stars; and barbecues are hosted by the beach at The Greek Kafenion, which creates an authentic atmosphere with its Greek hospitality and Cretan food.

Briefly, no more words, but images for a dream escape to an oasis of elegance!
