Atomic Spa Suisse is part of the fabulous Boscolo Exedra Hotel in Milan – situated in the heart of the city’s fashion district, a symbol of contemporary living with luxury-, extravagantly designed by Italian architect Simone Micheli, and described by him as ‘a work capable of touching emotions’.
Atomic Spa Suisse – comprising treatment cabins, sauna, Turkish bath, a large swimming pool with hydro massage jets and relaxation area – is a long way from the pristine minimalism of many hotel spas. Placed on the hotel’s lower ground floor, it’s like a blue cavern with walls covered of mirror metallic silver chrome balls looking as bubbles of mercury. This strange architecture shelters a pool which has an original form, somehow in between of ancient times and future, and a large size. A kind of 70’s version of a cavern, deliciously regressive and for sure, swimming here makes forget time and space.
A paradise consisting in lavish style and wide spaces, this Spa is a true temple of wellness. Six hundred square meters at the service of guests, featuring a waterfall, sauna, Hamman, flotation tank, a red cedar sauna with chromo therapy and aromatherapy, and 6 beauty rooms for original wellness treatments. Everything has been meticulously designed to create harmony between guests and their surrounds, just like the 15 meter screen alternating a mix of images and sounds, inviting relaxation; the spheres inserted in the walls reflect the blue tones of the pool and encourage the right perspective. Ergonomics and aesthetics combine to create calmness and serenity, implicating all the senses.
Playful yet comfortable, the wellness area from avant-garde Atomic Spa has walls with kaleidoscopic spheres which reflect the light blue colors of the swimming pool and give you a relaxing yet almost very futuristic sensation.
