Welcome to Mount Hilfiger

Tommy Hilfiger autumn/winter 2014-15 Ready to Wear Collection catwalk show took the audience in a trip to the sky slopes. The snowy scene was set with a chalet on top, skis propped up against a rack and a chair lift over heads as models weaved their way on a winding mountain trail runway with pine trees covered by white snow.

The show theme was the great American outdoors, a mountaineering clip knotted in hiking rope and the opening looks comprising sheepskin lined parkas and colorful plaid outfits. From tartan wool cashmere sweater dresses to mohair pieces and silk shirting, that mountaineering idea was played out in many ways, like bungee cord button holes and elasticated drawstrings in the waist on performance-style jackets. The blanket dressing, a trend spotted at the pre-fall collections, continued in the shape of maxi skirts with fringed trims.

A young-centric spirit collection, with miniskirts partnered with teddy fur bomber jackets, colorful and meanwhile featuring delicate, slightly bohemian embellishments.
